The Upper Dublin Public Library, in cooperation with Upper Dublin Parks and Recreation, sponsors a monthly book group for seniors. We meet once a month, normally the first Monday at 1:30 p.m., in the Senior Adult Center in Oreland. The group decides what books to read, and the library reserves them. Contact Parks & Recreation to sign up at (215) 643-1600 ext 3443, and see Kay Klocko, the reference librarian, for the latest selection. New members are always welcome!!! Join today! Discussion Books

The book group where everyone reads a different book! The Daytimers meet the third Thursday of each month at 2 pm. Contact Kay Klocko, the reference librarian, at 215-628-8744 to sign up. The Daytimers focus on a particular theme for each month. All participants will read a book, fiction or non-fiction, about our theme. There are just a couple rules for book selection. If you’re reading a series, please read the first book in the series. Also, please read a book for adults and stick with books that have a “narrative”: in other words, no cookbooks, how-to or other non-narrative books. We'll get together and discuss on the third Thursday of the month! If you plan to attend, please RSVP with your book selection to the reference librarian, Kay Klocko, at 215-628-8744 or upperdublinlibrary@mclinc.org.
Teens in grade 6 and up are welcome! Come and discuss these fast-paced teen fiction page-turners. This book group is held intermittently. This book group is held intermittently. You may check our Children's Book Discussions page for information or contact Barbara McNutt , our youth services librarian. For those who can't attend our book clubs or who would like to begin their own, we have included a list of sites to help you get started. Check out these web sites if you are starting your own book club or just want some new ideas for an old one. You'll find advice, book suggestions, author bios and interviews, discussion questions, book guides, online book discussions, and much more.
