Our tour group will meet at the library at 1:45. Participants must be part of the tour group to see the demo!
See a dump truck, loader, tractor & street sweeper! See how they work & learn how they are used! You’ll even sit in some of the equipment yourself! Children must wear closed toed shoes (sneakers are good!). Children of all ages welcome!

Science in the Summer 2008 "Genetics"
This hands-on program continues for the 22nd year thanks to the sponsorship of GlaxoSmithKline. "Genetics" is this year's subject. Why do some children have brown eyes and some blue eyes? Why do some children have straight hair and some curly hair? Why are no two fingerprints alike? What is DNA? Through interesting experiments children will learn all about genetics in this intriguing program.
Children who completed grades 1 thru 5 and are Upper Dublin Township residents are eligible to participate. Children must attend all four sessions. Class size is limited to 15. There is no charge or fee. Class selection is by lottery drawing held on Friday, May 30. Child will be called if selected. Pre-register in the library Thursday, May 1 to Thursday, May 29.

Summer Reading Program: Catch the Reading Bug this Summer!
Sign up beginning Monday, June 9 for the library’s eight week Summer Reading Club, “Catch the Reading Bug” and receive a bag of special items to get you started. All programs are free, but you must be a Summer Reading Club member to attend the programs listed below. Funding for all programs provided by the Friends of Upper Dublin Public Library.

July 1st -31st! Take a photo of someone or something reading. All pics to be displayed in the Library. Patrons will vote for their favorites. 1 entry per child. Non-returnable, hard copies only please. Ages 5-12.
