AARP provides information and resources; advocates on legislative, consumer, and legal issues; assists members to serve their communities; and offers a wide range of unique benefits, special products and services for its members.
- Administration on Aging (http://www.aoa.gov) : AoA is the federal focal point and advocate agency for older persons and their concerns.

- Area Agencies on Aging (http://www.aging.state.pa.us) : The local representatives of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, who implement the various programs for older Pennsylvanians.
